Dr. Samantha Hornberger was born and raised in Dearborn County and graduated from East Central High School in 1997. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Studies
from Indiana University in 2001 and decided to stay in Indiana and continue her studies at Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, graduating in 2005. After optometry school Dr. Hornberger completed residency training in Corneal Disease and Specialty Contact Lenses.
Dr. Hornberger is passionate about patient care with a special love for dry eye management, specialty contact lens fitting for corneal diseases and scarring, and myopia management in children. She lives in Dearborn County with her husband, Brad (also a '97 ECHS grad), their two boys, Ben and Max, and their two dogs, Scout and Cocoa.
