Dr. Samantha Hornberger was born and raised in the Dearborn County area and graduated from East Central High School in 1997. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Studies
from Indiana University. Following graduation, she decided to remain a proud Hoosier in optometry school, continuing her studies in Bloomington. When not learning about eyes, Dr. Hornberger spent much of those four years watching basketball at Assembly Hall and enjoying all that Bloomington has to offer! After optometry school graduation, Dr. Hornberger chose to complete a year-long residency in Corneal Disease and Specialty Contact Lens. Dr. Hornberger is passionate about patient care with a special love for dry eye management, specialty contact lens fitting for corneal diseases and scarring, and myopia management in children. She lives in the area with her husband, Brad (also a '97 ECHS grad), their two boys, Ben and Max, and their two dogs, Scout and Cocoa.
